White and Splash Bresse
Originally developed in France over 500 years ago, these unique birds have long been touted as the most flavorful chicken in the world. Our Bresse come from lines originating at Greenfire Farms and imported lines from France, developed by Mr. Justin Moss at Bresse Farms. Roosters will weigh approximately 7 pounds and hens around 6 pounds. They lay around 250 large white eggs per year.
Olive Eggers
Wouldn't gathering eggs be so much more fun if they were rainbow colored? Olive Eggers are bred by crossing hens that lay brown eggs with roosters that carry genes for blue eggs. This crossing will result in hens that lay eggs in different shades of green! There's no telling the fun-colored feathers, feet, or eggs you could get from these birds! Our Oliver Egger flock contains Black Copper Marans, Splash Ameraucana, Buff Orpington, and Delaware hens, covered by our most family friendly Ameraucana rooster, Basil.
