White American Bresse

Originally developed in France over 500 years ago, these unique birds have long been touted as the most flavorful chicken in the world. These are a rare heritage breed in the US, recently imported from France in 2011. They are coveted by homesteaders and poultry enthusiasts for their abundant and flavorful meat, plentiful eggs, forage hardiness, low feed intake, and unique looks. Their unique qualities make them well suited to pasture systems. They are the ultimate homestead chicken! We have specially selected our Bresse from genetically diverse lines from quality breeders across the US. Our goal is to get these amazing birds to as many homesteads as possible!

Olive Eggers

Wouldn't gathering eggs be so much more fun if they were rainbow colored? Olive Eggers are bred by crossing hens that lay brown eggs with roosters that carry genes for blue eggs. This crossing will result in hens that lay eggs in different shades of green! There's no telling the fun-colored feathers, feet, or eggs you could get from these birds! Our Oliver Egger flock contains Black Copper Marans, Splash Ameraucanas, and Buff Orpingtons, covered by our most family friendly Ameraucana rooster, Basil.
